Important Info
All classes need a minimum enrollment of
16 students to run.
We make the call for the class the Wednesday before so please sign up early!
Enrollment Fee for Fire Officer Courses:
$46.00 per unit. (California Non-residents add $325.00 per unit to the posted
fees for out-of-state tuition). Plus the new $140.00 State Fire Training
Fee (changing January 2021).

If you have never attended SAC or missed a whole semester, go to www.sac.edu to APPLY for the "Spring Intersession 2021" Term.
Prerequisites are needed for the Inspector Courses!
They include
having taken Santa Ana College’s (provide transcripts if taken at another
college)
- FTC 104 – Fire
Prevention
- FTC 105 -
Building Construction for Fire Protection
- FTC 106 - Fire
Protection Systems
- OR you are currently working, in
some capacity, in a Fire Department, preferably as an inspector. (You will
have to show proof of your current job & fill out a prerequisite
challenge form).

STUDENTS RESPONSIBILITY
-If you plan to drop a class, you must do so by or on
the first day of class. Dropping out of a class can be done in two ways:
- In person at SAC Admissions office
- Electronically via Web Advisor
Failure to do so will eliminate the college's ability to refund any registration fees
Class Cancelations: Please call the Cashier's Office @ 714-564-6965 to get a full refund
