PETITION FOR GRADUATION
Petitions for graduation should be submitted electronically to
counseling for assistance in filling out the petitions.
|Fall 2023: ||9/8/23 - ADT (transfer degrees)|
10/6/23 - all other degrees and certificates|
|Spring 2024:||2/9/24 - ADT (transfer degrees)|
3/8/24 - all other degrees and certificates|
|Summer 2024:||6/20/24 - all degrees (including ADT) and certificates|
Commencement exercises are held once a year at the end of the spring semester for those students who complete the requirements for graduation during the year or the summer session.
Unit Requirements: Students must complete at least 60 degree units with a minimum 2.0 grade point average. Courses designated with the letter "N" preceding the course number are not degree applicable courses.
Residency requirements: A minimum of 12 units must be taken at Santa Ana College. At least six of these units must be in courses required for the major.
Major requirements: Each degree and certificate program specifies courses required for the major (please see college catalog). Students must complete these courses with a grade of C or better.
Note: Transcripts from all colleges attended must be on file in the Admissions Office.
