Come join the conversation about these alien worlds; learn what they are, how they are detected, and what can determined from observations. Using real exoplanet transit data and our trusty friend Algebra, we will mathematically determine the size of an exoplanet!

Description: We will discuss the real biology and ecology underlying the life cycle on Arrakis and the Shai-Hulud (sand worms). How realistic is the life cycle from sand plankton, to sand trout, to Little Makers, and eventually the Water of Life? We will also explore the physics of the technology, and the astrobiology explored from planets like Caladan, Giedi Prime, and Arrakis.

If you've never peered into the turbulent atmosphere of a star before, now is your chance!
