Mission Statement

The mission of the Economics/Geography Department is to be a leader and partner in meeting the intellectual, cultural, technological, workforce and economic development needs of our diverse community. The Economics/Geography Department seeks to incorporate micro and macro economic decision-making skills into the daily lives of the students, along with promoting a spatially-influenced local, regional, and global perspective of the earth using scientific principles.
