  Improve your pronunciation so you can communicate better.

• ESL 570: Conversation 1

  Learn conversation strategies and speaking skills for basic social interactions.

• ESL 580: Conversation 2

  Learn advanced conversational strategies and develop speaking skills for various settings.

Learn English needed to prepare for the U.S. Citizenship Examination.

• ESL 488: Basic Writing

  Learn writing process basics and sentence structure.

• ESL 490: Intermediate Writing and Grammar

  Strengthen your writing skills. You will review grammar and create well-structured sentences for paragraph writing. (Five high school elective credits may be awarded if students pass required course post-tests/assessments with 80% or higher.)

• ESL 491: Advanced Grammar Review & Essay Writing

  Learn how to write college-level essays. Learn how to write a topic/thesis statement and organize complex ideas into paragraphs. Review adjective, noun, and adverb clauses. (Five high school elective credits maybe awarded if students pass required course post-tests/assessments with 80% or higher.)
