The certificate prepares you to support dentists in clinical and administrative settings. Begin with a program orientation in order to be considered for program admission.
Get hands-on experience through a supervised Clinical Externship. Apply what you learn in real world dental environments. Assist with patient care, manage dental office operations, and perform clinical and radiographic procedures while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and professionalism.

- VHLTH 122: BLS for Healthcare Providers and Heartsaver CPR/First Aid
- Be at least 18 years old on the first day of class.
- Complete a Live Scan Form BCIA 8016
- Pass a background check
- Have a Physical Examination Assessment & Evaluation Form/Medical Clearance. Medical clearance must be from MD, NP, or PA and clearance must not be older than 90 days from the first day of the program.
- Have an active certification for BLS/CPR for Healthcare Professionals from the American Heart Association, which is valid for the duration of the program.
- Have verification (certificate, school transcript) of a High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED, HiSET)
