Lists
Lists convey a hierarchical content structure.
As with heading, lists should be used correctly and for the right purposes. Lists are also made up of more than one item. Lists should never be used for merely indenting or other layout purposes.
Unordered Lists
Unordered lists should be used when there is no order of sequence or importance.
An example of an unordered list:
My favorite food to eat include:
- Pizza
- Spaghetti
- Cheeseburgers
- Sour candy
Ordered Lists
Ordered lists suggest a progression or sequence.
Ordered list example:
Student Check-off List:
- Make sure you are officially enrolled in the course.
- Contact me if you need a permit number to enroll into the course.
- Complete your first assignment in Discussions by introducing yourself. Respond to three other classmates.
- Begin reading Chapter 1 in your textbook.
