International Education Week
International Education Week: Global Getaways

International Education Week (IEW) is our annual tradition, where students, faculty, and staff join together to celebrate the diversity of cultures represented on our campus and in our community. Each year, volunteers work together, devoting time, energy, and talent to IEW, making it our flagship program for the year! This year, we continue our new tradition of hosting IEW over 3 days, and have chosen the theme of “Global Getaways” to inspire international travelers to explore countries that are near and dear to us.
But first, a little history: International Education Week was established by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education 25 years ago to encourage intercultural exchanges and education. The goal of IEW is to join this effort to highlight the incredible educational and cultural exchanges of our current students and alumni network here and abroad.
How to Volunteer:
If you would like to join us this year, please submit your IEW Volunteer Form by October 2. All volunteers will be invited to join an Orientation on either:
-
Session 1: Monday, Oct. 5, 12pm, JSC-219
-
Session 2: Tuesday, Oct. 6, 12pm, I-206
All volunteer roles will be discussed at the orientation sessions, and are outlined in the IEW volunteer form accessible above.
