Earn-While-You-Learn Apprenticeship Programs
Which Path is Right for You?
Early Childhood Education Apprenticeship Program (ECEAP)

Work with young children (6 months - 5 years)

Earn your California Child Development Teacher Permit

Gain experience in Rancho Santiago Community College District early childhood centers

8-month apprenticeship
Bilingual Education Apprenticeship Program

Work with school-age children (5 years - 12 years)

Earn the SAC After School Program Associate Teacher Certificate

Gain experience in SAUSD's Engage 360° after-school programs

24-month apprenticeship

First, complete the interest form for the program you're interested in:

Then, you will be contacted to fill out an employer application and schedule a meeting with the Director of Special Programs

Accepted students will need to take a TB Assessment and make sure they are up to date with required immunizations

Legal right to work in the United States

Be at least 18 years old

High school diploma or equivalent
