Step one: Choose a class. If this is your first time preparing for the exam, start with a reading or writing.
Step Two: Complete the registration form. You will receive an email from 'donotreply@sac.edu'. Click on the link in this email to confirm your registration.
Step Three: In 1 to 4 days, you will receive an email with your class details including your teacher's name and contact information.

What is a High School Equivalency Certificate?
It is a certificate that the issuing state (California) recognizes as the equivalent of a high school diploma. You earn a high school equivalency certificate by taking the GED or HiSET exam. A passing score on either of these exams is equal by law to a California high school diploma, per the California State Board of Education. The HiSET exam is made up of 5 sub tests. What Times are classes offered? |
How long does it take to prepare for the HiSET exam?
It depends. Some students need as little as one month to prepare and pass the HiSET exam. Other students need six to nine months. A passing score on your HiSET tests depends on your educational background and the amount of time you have to study. |
How much does it cost?
Our HiSET test preparation classes are FREE but there are fees to take the HiSET exam. |
