Why does one song make you weep and others make you smile?
Explore the infinite power music has to inspire lovers, fuel a revolution, ignite religious ecstasy, or return adults to their youth. Human migration, rituals, politics, money and technology all play extraordinary roles in shaping music.
Come discover the relationship of music to art forms, including poetry, painting, dance & the movies you love.
Regardless of your musical background, come “play” music with us and find your own unique sound while learning about music.
Bring your own instrument and create songs and lyrics!
We’ll move a little, sing a little, clap a little, snap a little, and make purposeful sounds.
Explore your creativity, individually or with others in small groups.
Unleash your creative potential! Be ready to step out of the box, laugh and have fun!
Friday: 10:00 to 11:40 AM
