Santa Ana College Health Services Psychology Doctoral Internship is a member of the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC).

As an APPIC member, we use the AAPI (APPIC Application of Psychology Internship) form.  The application process is entirely online.  Whether or not you come from a program that is an APPIC member, a Match I.D. number is required to participate in the computer matching process. To apply for your number, contact the National Matching Service: or call (416) 977-3431. Further information about the matching process and online AAPI can be found on APPIC’s website:
We understand the selection process can be particularly stressful and hope that the information we provide in our brochure will be helpful to you.  Should you need further information to decide whether our site matches your training needs, please feel free to contact me by email or phone.

Application deadline: Your AAPI Online must be submitted by November 2, 2015.

In August, 2013, the internship program was awarded a grant from the American Psychological Association Board of Educational Affairs to fund programs that are applying for accreditation for the first time. We submitted our self-study to APA Commission on Accreditation in December, 2014 and were granted a site visit in June, 2015. We were awarded APA accreditation, on contingency, as an applicant program as of June 12, 2015.

All new employees of Rancho Santiago Community College District are required to successfully pass the TB test and Police background check as a condition of employment.
