Mission Statement
The Summer Scholars Transfer Institute (SSTI) is a residential program that invites today’s community college students to immerse themselves in the vibrant residential life at UC Riverside while participating in a 3-unit course from their home campus.
Through a blend of interactive activities and networking opportunities, students explore campus resources, connect with like-minded students, and gain valuable insights into the transition to a large research institution.

Summer 2026 course offering (hybrid method of instruction):
Eligibility Requirements
Be a current Santa Ana College student and be 18 years of age
Complete English 101 or Engl 1000C and a transferable math course by the end of Spring 2026
Complete 24 transferable units by the end of Spring 2026
Have a minimum transferable GPA or 2.5 (Honors section requires a minimum GPA of 3.0)
