Statement of Solidarity
Santa Ana College celebrated National Coming Out Day on October 11, 2022. Here is Dr. Nery's Statement she shared:
We stand in solidarity with all our students, faculty, and staff in the LGBTQIA2S+ community. This is a celebration not just for National Coming Out Day, but every day. We also stand by those who are questioning or unable to come out. I want you to know that you are never alone.
Santa Ana College strives to be a safe space where you are free to be your true self as you learn and grow in your academic journey. As you develop your talents and intellect, we want you to live your best life, free from all forms of discrimination or bias. To all in our LGBTQIA2S+ community, we stand with you, and we are proud to support you every single day.
Whether you are out and proud or just beginning your journey in the LGBTQIA2S+ community, you are important here at Santa Ana College.
