Santa Ana College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC) of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), 10 Commercial Blvd., Suite 204, Novato, CA 94949; (415) 506-0234, an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education.​​​ Additional information about accreditation, including filing complaints against member institutions, can be found at: www.accjc.org.

In addition to the current ACCJC college-wide accreditation, specified programs at Santa Ana College are also accredited by external accrediting bodies:

1. Automotive Technology: National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF)

2. Emergency Medical Technician: Orange County Emergency Medical Services (OCEMS)

3. International Business: National Association of Small Business International Trade Educators (NASBITE)

4. Occupational Therapy Assistant: Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE)
