Business Division


Welcome to the Business Division of Santa Ana College

In this division you will find a host of courses and programs prepared and presented by a highly qualified group of dedicated faculty who have your interest at heart.  Business Division Programs include:  Accounting & Business Administration, Business Applications and Technology, Computer Science, Engineering and Computer Aided Drafting, Entrepreneurship, International Business, Management, Marketing, and Paralegal.
Our Accounting faculty offers a tax preparation course that is certified by the California Tax Education Council (CTEC), and they will also introduce you to the world of Microsoft Dynamics.  Our Paralegal program is approved and accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA).  Our faculty in Business Applications and Technology can prepare you to become a Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS) and an Adobe Certified Associate (ACA).  Through our Computer Science program’s partnership with the Microsoft Developer’s Network (MSDN) Academic Alliance, students have free access to a wide range of Microsoft’s software tools and applications. Our Entrepreneurship program is partnered with the Harvard Business School Alumni Association of Orange County as well as the California Centers for Trade Development.  And with Engineering, you will have access to not only excellent computing facilities, but also to such technology as Revit, MicroStation, CATIA (Computer Aided Three-Dimensional Interactive Application), and ProEngineer.

All Business Division Departments offer concentrated certificates that can be used to demonstrate your competence in your selected field of business.  In addition, our Public Service Institute (PSI) program provides our local business community with targeted and affordable training opportunities.  Finally, our Academic Computing Center (Computer Lab) is here to support your computing needs with state-of-the-art computers and skilled instructional assistants.
