The mission of the college district’s child development services is to support and promote the district’s commitment to student success by providing access to vital, comprehensive and quality early education programs and services, which reflect and address the needs of the multi-faceted community.

 

Philosophy

 

In our centers, children always come first – before planned curriculum, before rules and before adult convenience.  We provide a flexible environment so children have a great amount of control over their own activities. This encourages learning because play is the child's most valuable learning tool. It helps them to learn self-awareness and problem solving.
