APPLYING TO A CENTER
Parent Eligibility
To be eligible for assistance with your
fees for childcare,
your family must meet the state requirements of need and
financial status, and the parent may be required to be a student
in the Rancho Santiago Community College District. If
required to be a student, you must be enrolled in a minimum of
six units in courses that lead to an academic or vocational
goal.

Fees
Fees for income eligible families are
determined by the State Department of Education, Child
Development Division. A sliding fee scale, based on gross
monthly income and number of family members, is available to the
families who qualify. There are available spaces for
children of families that do not qualify as low-income.
Fees are based on age of child, hours and days of needed care.

For Families Not Eligible For Fee Assistance
Space is available for parents that do not qualify for fee assistance at Santa Ana College and Santiago Canyon College centers. Santa Ana College Early Education Center serves children six months thru five years of age in full day classrooms. Santiago Canyon College Child Development Center serves children two - five years of age. Please phone the center for more information.
