Student Activities

The Center for Leadership Development plays an integral role in the overall college experience of students by offering opportunities for students to get involved in planning and taking part in co-curricular activities or events. Research on college students indicates that active involvement increases your satisfaction with college, provides opportunities to develop management and networking skills, helps in making career decisions, raises self-esteem, and builds long-lasting friendships.

Active participation in co-curricular activities complements and enriches the academic classroom experience, and improves leadership abilities. We are located on the 1st floor of the Johnson Campus Center in U121-A.

Student Activities Office	The Student Activities Office plays an integral role in the overall college experience of students by offering opportunities for students to get involved in planning and taking part in co-curricular activities or events.
AmeriCorps Foster Youth Mentoring Project	AmeriCorps Foster Youth Mentoring Project at Santa Ana College encourage students to mentor foster youth from Orange County Social Services.
Associated Student Government	The Associated Student Government (ASG) of Santa Ana College has been established to provide students with government and leadership experience.
Gameroom	The Gameroom is located in the Johnson Center, U-102S and is open both day and evening hours. Have fun, meet new people, or just unwind.
Inter-Club Council	The Inter-Club Council (ICC) is the governing body for all student clubs.
Service Learning Center	The Service Learning Center encourages civic responsibility among students through community service.
Student Clubs and Organizations	Numerous cultural/ethnic, religious, special interest, honor, and academic student organizations provide an opportunity for students with a common interest to form a membership group and develop activities/events that form a sense of community.
Student Leadership Institute	Student Leadership Institute (SLI) is a joint program between Santa Ana College and California State University, Fullerton. The program consists of a series of one and two-hour workshops in leadership skill development designed to help students improve their leadership competencies, as well as enhance future leadership potential. After completion of one of the 14-hour programs, students will receive a certificate from California State University, Fullerton.
