AmeriCorps Member Eligibility Requirements

Prospective FYMP mentors must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Members must be a citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States

• At least 18 years of age

• Minimum enrollment of 1 year at SAC with minimum GPA of 2.0

• Must enroll in Human Development 260: Mentoring Adolescents I and Mentoring Adolescents II during program year

• Commit to participation in the program for at least one year

• Must clear background, DMV and Tuberculosis (TB) screenings
