Course Description

Basic introduction to international bilingual word processing and computer applications using Microsoft Word and Internet international business format, forms, and vocabulary.  Course will be taught via Internet and Electronic Mail. Students will have some Spanish instruction available and a Spanish speaking instructor available for consultation.

Students will learn Word Processing, keying in documents with bilingual Spanish format, and will be able to select modules on basic Spreadsheets, International forms, and other computer applications.  Basic understanding of Spanish and basic ability to type.

You will need to have prior Internet and E-mail experience before you take this course.  If you do not have access to a computer, you may use the Academic Computing Center or Library during their operating hours.  The resources in these labs meet the course resource requirements and there is technical support available.

There will be a mandatory orientation meeting on campus the first week of class on Wednesday, February 13 at 3:00 p.m. OR  8:30 p.m. in room A-108 at Santa Ana College (Chavez Building).
