Printing Costs

Copy card dispensers are located in the Copy
Center and Reference collection areas. Use a $1 bill to purchase
a copy card (10 copies).

Keep the same card; add more value to receive 12
copies per dollar from then on.

To print free of charge, go to the Academic Computing
Center, A -106 for up to 20 b/w pages, and five color copy per day
(with Instructor approval).
How to Print from Library Owned PCs / Laptops

Only
black and white laser printing is available in the Library.

Choose
Print Preview from the File menu so that you can
estimate the printing
cost.

After
you send the print job, a highlighted
pop-up window with a number will appear. Enter
your name
in the “Your
Name” box. ** Note the Total
Pages & Total Cost fields.

Click on
Send to Print Release Station.
How to Print PDF, Blackboard & Lexis Files
-
To print
PDF documents: Choose the print button from the Acrobat
reader toolbar.

To print
from Blackboard, right click on the document link, choose
“Open in New Window”

To print
from Lexis, choose “Text Only” option.
At the Print Release Station
-
The
Print Release Stations are located behind the Reference Desk.

Look for the Job Name (your name) in the queue at
the print station.

Select
your job by clicking on it once.

Click on
the
Print
button. Insert your copy card. Click on the
OK
button.

Collect
your printouts.
-
Unclaimed print jobs will remain available for only 1 hour.
**
Your copy card must have enough $ to pull up all pages you
printed.
