Freshman Experience Program (FEP) / Learning Communities II (LCII)

  • First-time freshmen at Santa Ana College are eligible to join this special program designed to increase student retention and success.
     
  • Freshman Experience (FEP) links classes together to provide a learning environment where students and teachers work closely together.

  • The Learning Communities II Program (LCII) was modeled after the Freshman Experience Program and is designed for second year students attending Santa Ana College.
     
  • Learning Communities II offers the same learning environment and high level of involvement towards student’s success as the Freshman Experience Program.
     
  • Instructors and students working closely together in Learning Communities II contributes to improved transfer rates.
