If English is not your first
language, the English placement test you need to take is the TELD. This
handout will show you the kinds of questions theTELD asks you to solve. The
actual test has 75 grammar problems, and you have 40 minutes to complete them.
They are divided into 3 sections: basic structure, error analysis, and
sentence combining. Examples for each section follow.
