Education:
Albert was born in paradise (AKA Waianae,
Oahu in Hawaii) a long time ago. Having a lust to visit the "mainland",
he headed for Grinnell College in Iowa, right after graduating from
high school. After a number of twist and turns, Albert graduated from
UCLA with a degree in fine arts.
He also studied at USC (on the Hughes
master's program in computer science), Wolden
Multimedia Institute (Dreamweaver & Photoshop classes), Art
Center School of Design (commercial art), Otis Art Institute (fine arts),
Art Institute of Chicago (beginning
art), North Orange
County ROP (TV production & printing classes), Santa
Ana College (animation, Perl & CGI), Irvine
Valley College (Flash animation) and California State University
(ASP, C++ and C#.)
Experience:
Albert's previous professional experience include working as a system's
engineer / programmer at Hughes Aircraft Company, American
Airlines and Systems
Development Corporation and as owner/video producer at
Nexus
Video Production. Albert has recently produced a website at
artparodies.com in which he
creates political parodies using Adobe Photoshop plus blogs using
WordPress.
General Information:
Albert is an Application Specialist III with ITS (a district
organization) assigned to work with the SAC web committee. He started working at Santa Ana College in March, 1999. What he
enjoys most about being a web page/site designer is creative aspects
of the job.
In order to enhance his job capabilities, Albert has taken a series
of class at and Santa Ana College
(Perl Programming and CGI, Unix Operating System, Advanced UNIX Shell
Scripts) and Irvine Valley College
(Flash 4/5). If you would like to see some of the Flash 5 creations,
