Education:
David Dobos received his Bachelors Degree (1971) and his Masters
degree (1973) in Sociology from San Diego State University. Since
coming to Santa Ana College in 1973 he has served in a variety of
coordinator, director, chair, administrative, and faculty positions.
Community Involvement:
He has recently served on the advisory boards of the
Latino Health Network and the Friends of Santa Ana Parks, Recreation and
Community Services; as chair of the Oversight Committee of the Youth
Council of the Santa Ana Workforce Investment Council; as the logistics
chair of the American Cancer Society Relay for Life in Santa Ana; on
the executive committee of the Santa Ana Youth Expo; and on the Board of
Directors for the Friends of the Santa Ana Zoo. He has also
taught classes in leadership for the United Way of Orange County and
cultural diversity for
the Santa Ana College Sheriffs' Academy and Orange County Probation Department.
