Can You See in the Dark?
Show designed
specifically for Kindergarteners and First Graders

Watch as a
city cousin visits his cousin in the country - and sees the
night sky like he's never seen it before. The cousins share
a trip across the solar system. A shorter show structured
for the sensibilities and attention span of younger
children. Designed by a former preschool teacher who
explored astronomical concepts with his classes. Please
no children under 5.
Special $3 price.
What is a Black Hole?

Explore the
most exotic events in the cosmos: black holes, pulsars,
supernovas and wormholes. Experience the most extreme forces
in the universe as you cross the event horizon of a black
hole and become "spaghettified!" Seats are $5.

Please Help...
Are you concerned as
to where our next generation of scientists and engineers are
coming from? The Tessmann Planetarium
has been inspiring students to study science and take up careers in
science
and engineering for over 40 years.
We need your help
and your donations.
Over 19,000 children
visit the Tessmann Planetarium each year. But many schools are
finding it difficult to send their students on field trips in these
challenging economic
times in California.
Help
support science and astronomy
education in southern California. Your contribution may help inspire
the next
Carl Sagan or Albert Einstein.
Make a difference in a child's life and contribute to the
Planetarium's
endowment and field trip funds.
