SACSNA has some awesome upcoming events…so get ready to get involved!

ARE YOU A SACSNA MEMBER?  Actually, every pre-nursing and nursing student is a SACSNA member and is invited to participate in all SACSNA meetings and events.  SACSNA is a chapter member of NSNA (National Student Nurses’ association) and pre-nursing and nursing students are invited to become members of NSNA.  The advantages of joining NSNA are:

• Participation in a professional nursing organization; automatic membership in CNSA (California Nursing Students Association)

• Eligibility to attend statewide and national conventions through sponsorship of our local chapter

• Awareness of current nursing issues that affect the profession as a whole

• Monthly publication

• Networking with other student nurses across the nation; opportunity for learning workshops and national nursing news

• Looks great on the resume!

SACSNA WANTS YOU!                          

Everyone is busy but not too busy to be involved at some level.  SACSNA  is on campus to create networking between students, provide a learning resource, help our community be a better place, and to just have some fun!  Take some time each month to join the SACSNA activities to help make a difference on campus and in our community.  If everyone does just “a little”, it becomes “A LOT”.

There are Board of Directors positions open for SACSNA; if you are interested in participating in that function, please let us know!  There are more opportunities for financial help in attending conventions and special events for those who are actively involved.  The rewards are worth it!

If you are not interested in becoming a NSNA member we welcome you to come to our SACSNA meetings where you will be entertained and educated by a variety of RN nursing roles!!
