Educational Concerns

Students or concerned parties have the right to contact the Board of Registered Nursing or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission regarding concerns about the educational program. It is recommended that this be done after all college means for resolving problem/issues have been exhausted.

General Education Requirements

General education requirements that are not prerequisite coursework may be completed while on the entry list or during the program. These requirements must be completed before taking the National Council Licensing Examination-Registered Nurse examination.

Re-admission to Program after Failure/Withdrawal

A student may re-enter the Nursing Program once after withdrawal or failure. No student shall be re-admitted after two (2) withdrawals or failures of SAC Nursing Program courses. In cases of grave, extenuating circumstances, a student may file an appeal for re-admittance after two withdrawals or failures. Faculty will then determine re-entry.

Scholarship/Financial Assistance

Contact the Financial Aid Office for information at (714) 564-6242. The Scholarship Office (714) 564-6478 and Nursing Department can also provide information about scholarships specific to nursing. .
