Geology Program

What is geology?

Geology is the science and study of the Earth, its composition, structure, physical properties, history and the processes that shape it.

Why should I be interested in geology?

Geology is the study of the earth, We live on the earth. Look at recent stories in the news. Rising oil prices, tsunamis, earthquakes, global warming, flooding, and groundwater pollution. All involve geology. To understand the world in which we live we need to understand geology.
