The associate degree curriculum in sociology is an
interdisciplinary social science program providing students an understanding of
interpersonal behavior and social structure, a critical appreciation of
contemporary social life, a form of reference for an analysis of human
behavior. Completion of the associate in arts degree prepares students to move
into a curriculum at a four-year institution leading to a baccalaureate degree.
