Social Science Degree (SAC 0640)
The associate degree curriculum in social science is designed
to provide the student with a better understanding of man’s behavior, past and
present, the historical and social environmental forces that operate in the
world, and the significant problems of the present day. Completion of the
degree prepares students to move into a curriculum at a four-year institution
leading to a baccalaureate degree. Some employment opportunities are available
in the teaching of social science.
