A history of Success, A Future of Promise
Pageant of the Trees Celebrates Alumni and Friends,
Raises $31,600 for Santa Ana College Foundation

We are delighted to report that our fourth annual Pageant of the Trees on December 5 was a resounding success, with more than $31,600 raised to support innovative student programs and scholarships at Santa Ana College.

A record 360 guests enjoyed a spectacular holiday wonderland as event host and title sponsor The First American Corporation was decked with boughs of holly and an array of originally designed holiday trees, all available to the highest bidder in spirited silent and live auctions.

Attendees enjoyed gourmet hors d'oeuvres, a hosted bar, traditional holiday carolers, and a stunning musical performance by SAC alumna Aneta Augustyne. Santa Ana Councilmember and SAC alumnus Carlos Bustamante was the evening's honored guest and delivered some truly inspirational remarks on what the college has meant to him both personally and professionally.

This magical holiday event revealed the spirit of giving by numerous Santa Ana College friends and alumni who gave so freely of their talent to create the many amazing trees and whose generosity made this elegant event such a success for our students and our community.

Happy Holidays,

"As a Santa Ana College alumnus, I am very proud that The First American Corporation was able to step up in support of the quality educational programs and services at Santa Ana College. It is a pleasure to work closely with this fine college located in our own backyard and to see the positive impact the college has made, and continues to make, here in Orange County."
