The Administration Building at the main campus is scheduled for renovation beginning January 2007. Measure E funds have allowed for the upgrade of this building. For more information regarding Measure E, please click here. Renovation of the building includes new carpet, paint, floors and a heating EMS system. The building will also be evaluated for asbestos abatement compliance as mandated by state agencies. Asbestos abatement is the process through which asbestos containing building materials are evaluated for integrity to determine whether they should be removed or steps should be taken to minimize the health risks associated with asbestos. Asbestos is abated only when required for renovation, remodeling or maintenance. This usually involves moving ceiling tile, repairing plumbing or anything else that contains asbestos. The renovation project is scheduled for completion by July 2007. During construction, offices and departments which were housed in this building will be temporarily relocated in areas throughout the college. For a complete listing of temporary office locations, please click here.
