Shots Fired on Campus (Training Videos)

BoltNo one wants to think about an active shooter on campus. We have all probably heard stories though, of shootings from across the United States. An active shooter is one situation where your behavior and the actions you take can have a tremendous impact on whether you survive or not. You can view a brief video presentation that provides critical guidance on how to recognize and survive an active shooter situation by clicking one of the links below. Both videos present the same information: the one for “Students & Faculty” is in a college setting and the one for “Staff” is in an office setting.

Students, faculty and staff can view the training on their own and access it anytime they want, but some faculty members may want to also play it in their classrooms. Please feel free to show these to faculty and staff meetings or to student groups. You can also arrange to have an expert assist with the delivery of this presentation by calling Lt. Wooley in the Campus Safety Office (714-564-6330).

A closed captioned copy of these video are available.  Please contact Don Maus at 714-480-7330
