Library Employment Opportunities

Library technicians find employment in all types of libraries: public libraries, school libraries (elementary, middle or high school), special libraries (law, medical, corporate, museum, government, etc) or academic libraries (college or university).

To locate library-related job listings for Orange County and surrounding communities it is recommended that you always check for current library vacancies we have received from employers. These are posted below under "Search/Post (Vacancies Received)".

**When posting library vacancies employers use different job titles.  Library-related positions may be found under any of the following job titles:  library assistants, library technical assistants, library media technicians, library technicians, library clerks, or library aides.
