History of Jennie Tessmann

Orange County's Premiere Planetarium

The Tessmann Planetarium has been inspiring students to study science and take up careers in science, education and engineering for almost 50 years. It has been bringing the wonders of the universe for anyone with an interest in astronomy and/or space exploration.

Our interactive and lively astronomy programs bring the wonders of the cosmos to children grades K through 12, college students, scouts, seniors and the general public. Our shows contain up-to-date information and images of the solar system and deep space. If you're interested in space or have a passion for astronomy, stop by the campus of Santa Ana College and see one of our shows.
